I'm sorry for the lack of updates the last few days. My hand me down laptop is dying, and trying to get any work done in safe mode is rather irritating. So, since I've wanted a new laptop for over a year now, I finally broke down last night and got one. This one - it's an Inspiron 15R with the i3 and the 500GB hard drive. I get a pretty good student discount, so it's (almost) affordable. Hopefully this rig will make it through grad school.
Dell say that it will be here on or before Friday the 11th. Expect regular updates to resume then.
